Russia fires missile at military facility in Lviv region, injuring four people
This morning, June 25, Russian forces have launched a missile strike from the Black Sea at a military facility in the Yavoriv district, Lviv region.
Lviv regional military administration head Maxym Kozytsky shared the update, Espreso.West reported.
"Today at about 4 a.m. a missile strike was fired from the Black Sea on the Lviv region. Six missiles. Four hits. Two missiles were shot down. The object is military, located in the Yavoriv district. As a result of the missile strike, there are four victims: one of medium severity, three of light, all hospitalized," said Kozytsky.
He also noted that the fire caused by the shelling was localized.
Shortly afterwards, the West Operational Command clarified that the strikes were fired from cruise missiles.
"During the Russian night massive rocket fire on the territory of Ukraine, units of the anti-aircraft missile forces of the West Air Command destroyed two cruise missiles in the Western region," the statement said.
