Russia fires at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant near nuclear reactor power unit creating a risk of radioactive leak

One of the strikes was near the power unit where the nuclear reactor is located.
"The Russians have seriously damaged the nitrogen-oxygen station and the combined auxiliary building. There are risks of hydrogen leakage and sputtering of radioactive substances. There is a high fire hazard. There are currently no casualties", it is noted.
It is reported that before the shelling, "representatives of Rosatom left the station in a hurry". The Ukrainian staff of the ZNPP is on site and is eliminating the consequences of the damage.
