Russia is not targeting civilians in Ukraine: foreign fakes for July 9
Some foreign observers launch fakes that are meant to whitewash Russia's reputation while it continues to terrorize Ukrainian civilians
On July 9, Ukraine's Center for Countering Disinformation has published the selection of anti-Ukrainian narratives that were launched by the world media.
Fake: American commentator Jackson Hinkle wrote on his X page: "An American Patriot air defense missile, fired by Ukraine, hit a Kyiv children’s hospital this morning. Of course, they’re blaming Russia… again."
Refutation: The investigators have confirmed that the attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv was carried out by a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile.
Disinformation: British journalist Johnny Miller wrote on his X page: "Russia is not targeting civilians in Ukraine. It doesn’t make any sense for them. Russia, despite all the absurd propaganda, is a civilized state. Yes, many Ukrainian civilians have been killed in Russian strikes or as a result of air defense gone wrong."
Refutation: This is another attempt to whitewash Russia's reputation while it continues to terrorize Ukrainian civilians. There's a lot of evidence showing Russia is responsible for terrorist attacks in Ukraine.
