"Mobilization of women and teens": Russia spreads new fakes about Ukraine

Russians are spreading new fakes about the Ukrainian government's intent to mobilize women and men from the age of 21 and even that preparations are underway to mobilize teenagers

The Center for Countering Disinformation writes about this. 

The new fakes of Russian propagandists are aimed at intimidating the population and disrupting mobilization in Ukraine.

"Actually, mobilization in Ukraine takes place from the age of 27. The Verkhovna Rada is discussing the possibility of reducing the age of mobilization to 25 years. But this decision has not yet been made. There will be no mobilization of women in Ukraine. This was clearly stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy," the statement reads. 

• On January 2, it was reported that Russian propagandists were spreading a fake that Ukraine had banned large families and people with disabilities from leaving the country. This is allegedly a preparation for their mobilization.
• On December 28, Russians spread a fake about preparations for the mass mobilization of women.
