Russia fails winter-spring offensive and loses its offensive potential — Ukrainian intelligence
Kyrylo Budanov, chief of Ukrainian intelligence, said that on March 31 another Russian attack failed
He stated this in an interview with Radio NV.
"On March 31, 2023, the Russian winter-spring offensive, their fifth attempt, failed. I can officially confirm this to you. On that day, they aimed to enter the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. However, once again, their offensive operation failed. Currently, Russia does not possess the potential to launch a strategic offensive operation, nor will they have it in the near future. Russia has shifted to a strategic defense operation, with the primary objective of holding the territories they have captured and disrupting any offensive operations aimed at reclaiming them."
Additionally, Budanov mentioned that Russia is now on the defensive in all areas, except for Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
