Russia convenes UN Security Council meeting on Western arms supply to Ukraine. Ukrainian President’s Office responds
On Thursday, May 18, Russia initiated a meeting of the UN Security Council to condemn the supply of weapons to Ukraine. President’s Office advised Russia to wait for the tribunal and stop "using" the UN
Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Serhiy Kyslytsya announced the convening of the Security Council meeting.
“Russia plans to convene the UN Security Council on Thursday with the aim of "condemning" the supply of arms to Ukraine. This drives Russians crazy, and Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's Deputy Ambassador to the UN, is an accomplice in war crimes,” he wrote.
In response, Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President’s Office of Ukraine, has called on Russia to cease using the UN Security Council as a platform for tantrums and instead await the tribunal.
"Hate speech," Russia yells hysterically at a UN emergency meeting. So? Yes, Ukraine hates you. Yes, we will persecute you. Always and everywhere. Yes, there is nothing to talk to you about - you don't know modern human languages. Yes, the time of your traditional whining, which had a hypnotic effect on global politics, is coming to an end. Yes, the representatives of the RF, a state of serial killers, will undoubtedly pay all their debts. Yes, Ukraine will get each and every one of you, whether legally or physically. And stop exploiting the UN – undeniable war criminals have no international law. Just wait for your finest hour at the Tribunal,” he wrote.
It has been reported that Russia has filed a complaint with the UN regarding the statements made by Kyrylo Budanov, chief of Ukrainian Defence Intelligence, who threatened to eliminate Russian war criminals worldwide. The corresponding letter from the Russian Federation is currently at the disposal of the Russian propaganda agency "RIA Novosti."

Earlier, Podolyak emphasized the genocidal nature of the war waged by the Russian Federation in Ukraine. He made these comments in response to Putin's decree on the deportation of Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories for refusing Russian passports.
