Russia continues to shell Azot, Skloplastyk plants in Luhansk region
Intense fighting continues in Severodonetsk, Russia shells the Azot and Skloplastyk plants. A local woman was killed and two others were injured in Lysychansk.
Luhansk regional military administration head Sergiy Gaidai shared the update.
"In Severodonetsk, Russia fired at Azot and Skloplastyk, and a woman died in Lysychansk. A wounded woman and a man from Lysychansk were hospitalized in hospitals in other regions," Gaidai wrote.
However, it's impossible to name the final number of victims in Severodonetsk, because Russia fires artillery at the houses every day.
On June 11, Russia again fired on the territory of the transport shop of the Azot chemical plant, where fuel and lubricants caught fire. The premises of the Severodonetsk Skloplastyk NGO were also damaged.
The Russian army also shelled rescuers outside the city.
The assault in Severodonetsk and in the Toshkivka area is still ongoing. Pavlograd and Synetsky came under massive fire. In addition, Russia continue to shell Lysychansk, Metolkine, Ustynivka, Komyshuvakha, Gorske, Zolote, Vrubivka, Mykolaivka, Belogorovka, Shipylivka.
Over the past day, Russian forces destroyed 10 houses in Zolote and Vrubivka, two in Mykolayivka, four in Lysychansk, as well as a shopping center and a shop.
The Russian attacks in the area of Popasna, Vrubivka, Metelkine and Mykolayivka were repulsed.
It's impossible to evacuate at the moment: "Probably everyone wants to evacuate now, but there is no such possibility yet. During May, police, rescuers, and volunteers spoke to almost every citizen of Severodonetsk, visiting all shelters and basements. So now we just have to hold on."
