In some places Russia is again preparing pontoon crossings to increase the number of areas in which the offensive is carried out. According to our military and Pentagon analysts, they are beginning to rely on PMCs instead of battalion tactical groups to advance into smaller settlements and seize frontiers. Russia is actively using PMCs. In many areas where fronts meet, they are trying to use PMCs as the most trained fighters in comparison with the units that are urgently formed by the 'DPR' and 'LPR' personnel," said Zgurets.
The situation in southern Ukraine remains difficult.
"Russia is trying to carry out engineering positions. They pull up electronic warfare to influence our communication and control systems. They also pull up artillery and air defense systems," Zgurets said.
