Russia carries out active operations in southern Kharkiv region, advances beyond Siversk, Lysychansk - Territorial Defense fighter
Yuriy Korsunov, a Kharkiv region Territorial Defense fighter, has said that Russian forces are conducting active offensive operations in the southern Kharkiv region.
He shared the update with Espreso.
"Ukrainian Armed Forces are making it possible for the liberated Dmytrivka village of the Izyum district to remain under the control of Ukraine. This settlement is of high strategic importance. It is very important for us to hold the heights near Barvinkove village. Therefore, the Armed Forces are doing everything possible to ensure that the enemy cannot pass this line of defense and go towards Slovyansk," Korsunov said.
The fighter also added that the occupiers are conducting active offensive actions in the south of the Kharkiv region.
"Also, the enemy is trying to carry out active offensive actions in the south of the Kharkiv region. The occupiers managed to advance beyond Siversk and Lysychansk. Therefore, they had the opportunity to accumulate forces for offensive actions. However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to give a worthy rebuff. We are receiving modern weapons that are immediately used against the occupiers," he added.
