Russia can intensify missile and bomb strikes on civilian infrastructure, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.  

"The invaders continue to conduct an offensive operation against Ukraine. At the same time, the Russian invaders did not achieve the main goals of capturing certain cities and territories. There is a high probability of intensifying the Russian terrorist methods of conducting hostilities, rocket-bomb attacks on civilian infrastructure, residential areas, intimidation of the local population, holding informational, psychological actions to breach a  trust of locals to local authorities, spread misinformation, take the local population hostage,” said the General Staff.

They added the Russian troops did not give up the attempt to continue the offensive in all directions.

“For this measures are being taken to form and reconcile reserves on the territory of the Russian Federation. A significant part of Russian units are restoring combat capability. The invaders are trying to establish logistical support for units and units conducting hostilities,” the statement said. 

The invaders continue to hold air scouting of the positions of our troops in the Donetsk, Tavriya, in Pivdennobuzhsky and Bessarabian operational districts.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine in close cooperation with other components of the security and defense sector are worthily fighting back invaders, causing significant losses in manpower and military equipment. The moral and psychological state of the opponent is extremely low. It has been demoralized, the invaders are being taken in in some areas,” the General Staff said.
