The publication explains that the photos from space show that the route will pass far from other settlements – probably due to the difficulties that the expansion of the existing road may cause.
The Russian media outlet Meduza reminds that on September 27, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andriushchenko, wrote that Russia is building a railway line to connect Mariupol with Donetsk. According to the advisor, this will improve the logistics of the Russian army and dramatically reduce dependence on railroad traffic across the Crimean bridge.
Earlier, Petro Andriushchenko noted that the concrete slabs, which are brought mainly from the port of Sevastopol, are used by the Russian troops to build fortifications in the temporarily occupied Mariupol.
