Russia bombs Sumy region and attacks Dnipropetrovsk oblast with drones
Late in the evening of May 5, Russian forces dropped two guided bombs on Hlukhiv in the Sumy region, damaging 44 houses and an educational institution, and injuring at least 5 people.

It is noted that the Russian forces struck with two guided bombs on May 5 at about 22:13.
"Russian aviation launched another strike with guided bombs in the Sumy region. Around 22:13 on May 5, 2 bombs from an enemy Su-35 aircraft struck Hlukhiv. The strike damaged 44 private households and an educational institution. Five people were preliminarily injured. The information is being clarified," informed the OC North.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipro Regional Military Command, said that at night the aggressor attacked the Dnipro region with drones.
"The military from the East Air Command landed all four Shahed drones"
"The wreckage of the downed mopeds fell in Synelnyk district. Windows in 5 private houses were smashed there. Two outbuildings and a power line were damaged. People are unharmed," Lysak wrote.
He added that the Russian forces fired 15 Grad missiles at the Marhanets community in Nikopol district. There were no casualties. The consequences of the attack are being investigated.
Head of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration, Yuriy Malashko, informed on Telegram that 16 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhya region had been shelled 104 times over the past day: one missile attack, two air attacks, two UAV attacks, three MLRS attacks and 96 artillery shells.
The frontline towns of Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Stepnohirsk, and Kamianske were again under enemy fire. The enemy hit residential buildings, administrative buildings and utility networks. Four civilians were wounded over the last day and are being treated with all necessary assistance.
