Russia blocked humanitarian corridors from Izyum, Mariupol, Volnovakha, and several points of Kyiv region - Vereshchuk
Managed to take people out of Vorzel, Bucha, Gostomel, and Kozarovychi
The Minister for the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk, spoke about this in her evening appeal, Espresso.TV reports.
"The humanitarian corridor from Izyum did not open, Russian troops did not adhere to the ceasefire regime and fired at the road between Izyum and Lozova. From Andriyvka and Mykulychyn in the Kyiv region, who were supposed to be evacuated to Zhytomyr, it was also not possible to take people out, because the Russian military stopped them at a checkpoint", the minister noted.
It was also not possible to evacuate from Makarov and Borodyanka to the Kyiv region to Zhytomyr due to the violation of the ceasefire by the invaders. Also, people were not taken from Volnovakha to Pokrovsk.
"We failed to take people from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhya. Tomorrow we will again try to do it in full view of the whole planet, in full view of politicians and all the powerful people of this world. There will be journalists, there will be priests - all of Ukraine will be there tomorrow. First, we plan to bring humanitarian cargo there, and then we will try to evacuate people", Iryna Vereshchuk added.
The official noted that they managed to take out more than a thousand people from Vorzel. It was also possible to take people out from Bucha, Gostomel, and Kozarovychi.
"Tomorrow we will continue to evacuate again, opening new routes. Thanks to everyone for the information about problem areas. We are processing it and using it in our work," the head of the Ministry for the Temporarily Occupied Territories said.
