On the night of Friday, November 17, Russian Shahed drones attacked Ukraine from the south, Ukrainian air defense forces were operating in the Khmelnytskyi region

The threat of launching Shahed drones in the direction of Kherson and Mykolaiv regions was reported at 11:05 pm. A few minutes later, drones were flying over the region. And then through the Mykolaiv region - in the northwestern direction.
As a result, the Air Force warned of the threat of 3 groups of attack UAVs. At 2:59 am, drones were spotted over Khmelnytskyi and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
Serhiy Tyurin, the first deputy head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration, reported on Facebook the air defense operation.
"Once again, we thank the air defense forces for their excellent work in defending the skies over the Khmelnytskyi region. I will provide additional information later," he said.
Later, he added that as a result of the downing of one of the air targets, the debris damaged a truck. The driver sustained minor injuries.
On the territory of food warehouses, the shrapnel damaged the roof covering, the windows of the workshop and a three-story building, and seven containers for storing vegetable oil.
