The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, informed about the attack on the city of Cherkasy.
"An alarming start to the day in Cherkasy region. At night, the enemy attacked Cherkasy region with Shahed drones," he wrote on telegram.
According to the head of the Administration, air defense forces shot down 4 Russian air targets over the region at night.
However, there was a hit to an infrastructure facility. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. The consequences are currently being eliminated.
According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, on the night of September 26, Russian terrorists were attacking Odesa region with strike drones for two hours. Air defense forces shot down most of the drones.
"Unfortunately, there were hits to the port infrastructure in Izmail district. Two men, truck drivers, were injured. One of them received medical assistance on the spot, the other was hospitalized with a severe arm injury," Kiper wrote.
In addition, the building of the checkpoint, warehouses, and about 30 trucks were damaged. Six trucks caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire.
Mykolaiv mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych reported the attack on Mykolaiv at around 9 p.m. on September 25. According to him, a Russian missile attack hit an infrastructure facility on the outskirts of Mykolaiv.
"Employees of the district administration are currently inspecting the area. If we find any damage to residential buildings, I will report additionally," Sienkevych wrote.
Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine added that due to the Russian attack, dry grass and shrubs caught fire on the outskirts of Mykolaiv. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire on an area of 5 hectares.
Also on the night of September 26, shrapnel from the downed Shahed fell in Bashtanka district, causing a fire at an agricultural enterprise. The fire was extinguished over an area of 700 square meters.

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia railway company reported that train traffic between Mykolaiv and Kherson was temporarily restricted as a result of hostile attack of infrastructure in the Mykolaiv region.
On September 25, at about 9 p.m., "several groups of hostile Shahed attack UAVs were recorded being launched from Chauda, Crimea. A group of Russian UAVs was also spotted in the Sumy region. They were moving in a southwesterly direction.
At around 10 p.m., Russian tactical aviation activity was reported in the eastern and southeastern directions. There was a threat of aviation weapons being used in the frontline areas. Later, the danger spread to Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia regions. Also, to Mykolaiv (Kobleve and Ochakiv), Dnipro and Kherson regions.
"Another attack of enemy drones from the Black Sea to the south of Mykolaiv region," the Ukrainian Air Force warned around 12:00 a.m.. Soon, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kropyvnytskyi, and Poltava were in the attack zone.
"There is a threat of ballistic missile attacks in the eastern and southeastern regions," the Air Defense Forces emphasized at around 12:30 a.m.
An air alert was declared in all these regions.
At around 1:30 a.m., the threat of attack UAVs spread to Odesa region. The Ukrainian Air Force also emphasized that the Shahed drones were moving from Mykolaiv region in a westerly direction. At 1:50 a.m., the military reported that the Shahed drones were entering the mouth of the Danube and moving west.
A few minutes later, residents of Izmail and Reni were urged to run for cover as several groups of Shahed drones were advancing from the east.
At about 4:00 a.m., the all-clear signal was announced in all regions.
On the evening of September 25, explosions occurred in the temporarily occupied Crimea in Sevastopol and near the Belbek airfield.
Also on the evening of September 25, the Russian Defense Ministry reported a massive drone attack on the Belgorod and Kursk regions - about 10 drones were shot down.
