Russia attacks Mykolaiv region with missiles, drones overnight, hitting five-story building in regional center

On the night of October 23, a Russian missile hit a five-story apartment building in Mykolaiv, and the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot down 14 'kamikaze' drones in the region

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, on Telegram.

According to him, on the night of October 23, at about 01:30, Mykolaiv came under enemy fire with missiles of the S-300 type.

“One of the rockets hit a five-story residential building, completely destroying an apartment on the fifth floor. A nearby ten-story residential building was also damaged. Windows, doors and balconies were destroyed by debris and the blast wave. The heating line, the playground, and several parked cars were damaged as well. Previously, three people were injured,” Kim wrote.

He added that the warehouse building was also destroyed due to enemy shelling. One person was hospitalized.

In addition, invading Russian forces attacked the Mykoiv region with Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. 14 of them were shot down on the territory of the region.
