Russia attacks Kyiv with missiles, Odesa with Shahed drones overnight

Missile strike on Kyiv and the region

Serhiy Popko, Kyiv City Military Administration head, said that on the morning of September 6, Russians fired Kh-101/555/55 cruise missiles at Kyiv. According to preliminary data, they were fired from the Saratov region, using Tu-95MS strategic aircraft. At the same time, missiles of another type, probably ballistic ones, were also launched at the capital. 

All enemy targets moving in the direction of Kyiv were destroyed by air defense forces. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties or damage in the city. 

The State Emergency Service reported that the fall of enemy missile fragments caused a fire on the territory of an enterprise in the Kyiv region. The fire has been extinguished. No casualties were reported.

UAV strike in Odesa region

Odesa Regional Military Administration head Oleh Kiper said that on the night of September 6, Russians had been attacking Izmail district with drones for almost three hours.

An employee of an agricultural enterprise was severely injured. He died in the hospital. 

Destruction and fires were reported in several settlements. Port and agricultural infrastructure facilities were damaged: elevators, administrative buildings, and agricultural companies.
