Russia attacks Kyiv with drones for second night running

Serhiy Popko, the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, reports the information.
“The enemy's UAVs were launched in many groups and attacked Kyiv in waves, from different directions, while constantly changing the vectors of movement along the route,” he wrote, adding that because of this, air alert was announced in the capital several times.
At the same time, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration later reported that an infrastructure facility had been damaged during the almost five-hour air raid in one of the districts of Kyiv region. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties. The fire has been extinguished.
The air defense operation was also reported in Cherkasy region. The regional military administration informed that at night, Air Force units shot down an enemy drone over the region.
"The night with an alert for more than 4 hours. The enemy has organized another terror from the air. According to preliminary data, our defenders shot down an enemy UAV in the sky over Zvenyhorod district," the statement reads.
According to Ihor Taburets, the head of the Regional Military Administration, five houses were slightly damaged by shrapnel. No people were injured.
In addition, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, three more enemy drones were shot down by air defense at night in the sky of Sumy region.

It is noted that the invaders attacked Ukrainian regions with Shahed-type attack UAVs from the north, namely the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
Thus, 20 launches of attack drones were recorded overnight.
Air defense was operating in Kyiv, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, the Air Force managed to destroy 15 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs.
