Russia attacks Kherson: 6 civilians killed, 10 wounded, including child

On the evening of November 16, the Russian invaders massively attacked Kherson and fired 43 shells at the city in one day, killing 6 people and injuring 10 others, including 1 child

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported the information.

"Kherson is under massive fire from the Russian army. We know about three injured Kherson residents. Among them are a 15-year-old girl and her 52-year-old relative," he wrote at 8:06 pm.

Prokudin added that everyone was taken to the hospital and noted that the information was being clarified.

Later, the head of the City Military Administration, Roman Mrochko, reported a victim of the shelling.

"As a result of the recent shelling of the Kherson city center by the Russian occupying forces, a 75-year-old woman was killed. At the time of the enemy attack, she was in her apartment," he wrote.

Prokudin updated the information about the victims.

"We know about 8 wounded and 1 killed due to Russian shelling of Kherson. In the evening, the enemy shelled residential areas of the Central and Dniprovskyi districts of the city. Houses, cars, a gas station and a car wash were damaged," noted the head of the Administration. 

He confirmed that a 75-year-old woman sustained injuries incompatible with life in her own apartment.

"The youngest wounded is a 15-year-old child. She came under fire together with her 52-year-old relative relative. Both victims were hospitalized. Four more citizens were taken to the hospital. These are 2 women, aged 39 and 63, and men, aged 63 and 46. Two residents of Kherson, aged 60 and 63, received medical care on the spot," summarized Prokudin.

On the morning of November 17, the head of the Military Administration reported that Russian troops had launched 58 attacks over the day, firing 347 rounds from mortars, artillery, Grad, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. Russia fired 43 shells at the city of Kherson.

"Russian military hit residential areas of the region's settlements; administrative buildings and a shop in the Kherson district; a medical facility, a shop, gas stations and a car wash in Kherson city," he noted.

Prokudin informed about 6 killed and 10 wounded, including 1 child.
