Russia attacks 9 regions of Ukraine in one day, killing 1 person, injuring 16: regional sitrep

Information about the consequences of the attacks was released by the regional military administrations.

Chernihiv region: during the day, Russian troops fired mortars at the village of Hremyach in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure. The information is being clarified. 

Sumy region: yesterday, Russian troops fired 5 mortar shells at Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Nova Sloboda and Znob-Novhorodske communities. There were no casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Dnipropetrovsk region: at night, Russian forces twice directed heavy artillery at Nikopol district - almost a dozen shells hit the district center and Chervonohryhorivka community. There were no casualties or injuries. The consequences of the shelling are being clarified.

In addition, yesterday afternoon Russian troops fired 3 times at Nikopol. The attack damaged 15 private houses, 5 outbuildings, 2 gas pipelines and 3 power lines.

Zaporizhzhia region: Russian troops fired 114 times at 19 civilian towns and villages in the region over the last day. 100 artillery shells targeted over 6 settlements on the front line. Russian troops also fired 9 times at 4 settlements with MLRS. Orikhiv and Mala Tokmachka suffered from 3 air strikes, Olhivske was attacked twice by UAVs.

A guided missile strike on Orikhiv injured 10 people, including law enforcement officers on duty in the frontline town. Unfortunately, a 31-year-old policeman was killed on the spot. A family was injured - men aged 20 and 70 and women aged 39 and 66.

Kharkiv region: Russian troops targeted a settlement on the border with Russia. They also fired mortar and artillery shells at 5 settlements across the northeastern border.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful offensive in the areas northeast of Synkivka, north of Kyslivka and southeast of Andriivka. They conducted air strikes near Kyslivka and Pershotravneve. Kupyansk, Masiutivka, Kyslivka and Berestove came under artillery and mortar fire.

Luhansk region: Russian troops fired at 2 villages along the front line. In total, they fired 141 times at the region over the last day.

Donetsk region: Russian forces fired 9 times at Avdiivka, Toretsk and the villages of Bohoyavlenka, Shchurove and Blahodatne. 

One person was wounded in the region over the last day.

Mykolaiv region: Russian forces shelled the water area of the Ochakiv community yesterday. There were no casualties.

Kherson region: a 28-year-old man sustained severe injuries this morning as a result of shelling of Veletynske village. He was hospitalized in the intensive care unit.

In total, Russian troops launched 61 attacks in the region over the last day, 3 of them were on Kherson. They hit the areas of 23 settlements in the region, the territories and premises of factories in Kherson, and a mobile phone tower in Beryslav. In just one day, 3 people were injured as a result of Russian aggression.
