Russia attacks 9 regions of Ukraine at night, killing and injuring civilians

At night, Russia attacked the Kyiv region with missiles.The Ukrainian air defense successfully intercepted and destroyed all the incoming rockets. Following the incident, debris from the intercepted missiles caused a fire on a lawn flooring in one of the settlements, the fire was promptly extinguished. There were no reported casualties at this time.

In the Chernihiv region, Russian troops launched 5 attacks with mortars and cannon artillery. The attacks resulted in damages to houses and power lines, but no civilians were harmed during the incidents.

At night, Russians forces fired artillery at the Sumy region. Over the past day, a total of 10 attacks were reported, accompanied by 42 recorded explosions. Six territorial communities came under fire. Preliminarily, there have been no casualties, the data is being clarified.

In the Krasnopillia community, shelling resulted in the destruction of windows in a two-story house, as well as damage to an outbuilding. Additionally, five civilian cars were impacted due to the incident. Moreover, a water tower in the vicinity also suffered damage as a result of the shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, a total of 78 attacks were reported, which included air strikes, UAV attacks, and MLRS attacks. These strikes specifically targeted 20 towns and villages within the region. Additionally, 70 attacks were directed towards villages located on the frontline.

The shelling destroyed residential and garden houses, garages, outbuildings and other property of local residents. There were no casualties.

Yesterday, Russian troops shelled Marhanets community, Dnipropetrovsk region, with heavy artillery. They fired almost two dozen shells. Preliminary, there have been no casualties, the data is being clarified.

In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops attacked at least 25 settlements over the past day. They also launched air strikes near 18 settlements. 

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault west of Masiutivka, carried out air strikes near 2 settlements, and shelled 7 more settlements with artillery and mortars.

As a result of the shelling of Vovchansk, civilian houses were damaged and a fire broke out in two elevator silos. In addition, six trade pavilions of the Rynok LLC and a library burned down, a civilian man in his 60s was killed and a woman was hospitalized with injuries. A tractor driver hit a mine while working in the field.

In the Luhansk region, Russian troops tried to break through Ukraine’s defenses near Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka, Svatove district. However, near Bilohorivka, they were forced to retreat with losses. Recently, in the village of Hrekivka, the houses of residents were damaged, but no one was injured. Russian troops also shelled Novoselivske, Nevske and Bilohorivka yesterday.

In total, Russia made 103 attacks yesterday and launched 425 shells.

Over the last day in the Donetsk region, Russian troops launched 24 attacks at 14 local settlements using various types of heavy weapons, including Iskander, air strikes (type of missiles not identified), KAB-250, Grad, artillery, tanks and mortars.

As a result of the shelling, 23 residential buildings were damaged, including 2 apartment buildings, the Pokrovske mine administration building, a farm and 3 civilian cars. One garage was also destroyed. Two civilians were killed and five were injured.

In the Kherson region, Russian troops launched intense shelling, during which 309 shells were fired at 22 settlements of the region. In particular, the city of Kherson came under 11 attacks, during which 57 shells were fired. 

As a result of the shelling of Dniprovske village, a 64-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries, a shell hit his house. A shell hit a residential building in the village of Shyroka Balka, Stanislav community. As a result of the shelling, a 3-year-old child sustained a head injury from glass shards. In total, one person died and five were wounded in the last day as a result of Russian aggression.
