On August 5, the occupying Russian army struck 12 regions of Ukraine, killing 2 people and injuring 11

Information about the consequences of the attacks was released at 09:00 a.m. by the regional military administrations.

Khmelnytskyi region

At night, explosions were recorded in Starokostiantynivka and Khmelnytskyi communities. Air Defense Forces shot down most of the missiles. In the Starokostiantynivka community, the blast wave damaged several private houses, a municipal cultural institution and the bus station, and a fire broke out in a corn waste warehouse on the territory of the elevator. The fire was extinguished. An employee of the facility was injured in the explosion.

Rivne region

In the Rivne region, explosions were reported in the Dubno district during a night air raid. The consequences are being clarified.

Cherkasy region

During the night, air defense shot down a cruise missile. No injuries, property damage or fires were reported.

Chernihiv region

Six attacks were registered over the last day. The Russian enemy used mortars, artillery and grenade launchers.

Sumy region

The Russian forces made 6 attacks at night and in the morning. They attacked 6 localities with mortars, artillery, grenade launchers and machine guns. Preliminary, no casualties or damage were reported.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Yesterday, Russia attacked the Nikopol area again. The aggressor covered it with artillery fire. It launched a dozen shells from heavy artillery. The Nikopol and Marhanets communities were hit. There were no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia region

The enemy intensified shelling of the free part of the Zaporizhzhia region. Multi-storey and private houses, as well as municipal facilities were damaged. In total, Russian troops fired 95 times at 21 localities over the last day. There were no casualties.

At night, the Russian forces attacked the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia once again: an explosive wave damaged the warehouses of an infrastructure facility and set fire to the dry grass around it. In Komyshuvakha, a utility company was targeted, and nearby residential buildings were damaged.

Mykolaiv region

Last night, Ukrainian Air Defense Forces destroyed 2 Kalibr cruise missiles and 2 Shahed-136 attack drones.

The enemy shelled the town of Ochakiv in the Ochakiv community. Residential buildings were damaged. There were no casualties.

Kharkiv region

Last night, at about 8:20 p.m., the Russian troops struck a non-residential building in Kruhliakivka village, Kupyansk district, with a guided missile, causing a large-scale fire. According to preliminary reports, 2 men were killed and 4 others were injured.

Over the past day, shelling continued in the settlements of Bohodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuhuiv, Izium and Kupyansk districts of the region. A man sustained shrapnel wounds.

Kherson region

The Russian forces launched 46 attacks on the Kherson region over the day, firing 188 shells, including 8 attacks on Kherson (24 shells). Russian troops hit the areas of 15 settlements. Four people were injured as a result of aggression.

Luhansk region

Russian troops launched 147 attacks (613 shells) over the day.

Donetsk region

In the Donetsk region, Russian forces launched 10 attacks against 6 localities over the last day. 1 person was wounded.
