Russia accuses Ukraine of another attack on Russian ship 

Russian TASS news agency reported the information, citing Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov.

"Last night, the Kyiv regime made another attempt to attack a Russian Navy ship escorting civilian transport in the southwestern part of the Black Sea with an unmanned maritime boat," Konashenkov said.

According to a representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian ship’s crew allegedly detected and destroyed the Ukrainian boat in a timely manner.

The Ukrainian authorities and military leadership have not commented on these statements.

Also, on August 1, the Russian Defense Ministry accused the Ukrainian Armed Forces of attacking two Black Sea Fleet ships, which were located 340 km from Sevastopol, with unmanned boats. It is alleged that three unmanned naval boats attempted to attack the patrol ships Sergei Kotov and Vasily Bykov.

• The Russian Ministry of Defense said that on the night of July 30, Ukrainian forces allegedly attacked targets in the temporarily occupied Crimea using 25 UAVs.
