Suspilne shared the news.
About a hundred people gathered on Sofia Square. Wives and relatives of Ukrainian defenders asked the authorities to pay attention to what the Russian occupiers are doing to captured Ukrainian military personnel.
Kateryna Prokopenko, the wife of the commander of the "Azov" regiment Denys Prokopenko, appealed to the whole civilized world to recognize Russia as a sponsor of terrorism.
She said that she was disappointed because when the defenders of Azovstal laid down their arms, international organizations, the United Nations and the International Committee of the Red Cross assured that their lives and health were not in danger.
