Reports of Russian forces' retreat from Kherson region may be trap - Yevhen Yeri
Yevhen Yeri, head of the joint press center of Tavriisk Defense Forces, says that reports of the Russian forces' withdrawal from certain settlements in Kherson region is false
He said this on Espreso TV.
“According to our information, on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Russians are constantly redeploying troops from several settlements. However, it is too early to talk about their retreat. Since the enemy's statements about the retreat may be an information trap to force the Ukrainian troops to act according to their rules,” Yeri explained.
Yevhen Yeri emphasized that the Russian troops are trying to mislead the Ukrainian Aed Forces' command with their maneuvers.
“We are dealing with a very insidious enemy. Therefore, only after a specific assessment of the situation and the actions of the enemy, will we decide whether the Russians are really retreating from a number of settlements on the left bank of the Dnipro River. After all, there are certain signs that the Russians are trying to mislead us,” he added.
