Rebuilding energy infrastructure of Ukraine discussed at the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff meeting
On Wednesday, November 2, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief
This was announced on the official website of the President of Ukraine.
During the meeting, officials discussed the process of rebuilding critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine, in particular energy facilities. The day before, the facilities were destroyed as a result of Russia’s attacks.
Also, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and the commanders of the troops of operational directions reported on the current situation at the frontline, and intelligence representatives informed about the enemy's defensive and offensive capabilities. After the reports, the officials discussed and agreed on the next steps necessary to restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"Participants of the meeting also addressed the issue of providing military units with ammunition and other equipment necessary for the winter period," the president's website notes.
The President also praised the work of the air defense forces, which repelled the Russian drone attack at night. Zelenskyy emphasized that it is necessary to accelerate the efforts regarding the formation of an effective air defense system of Ukraine.
