"Russian invaders hit the Balakliya regional hospital. The building was partially damaged", the official noted.
According to him, now patients and staff "need immediate evacuation".
"There are about 70 patients and medical personnel. We are doing everything to do this and save people", Synegubov emphasized.
At the same time, Oleg Synegubov regards the shelling of the hospital as "another war crime against civilians in the Kharkiv region".
"Balakliya is a temporarily occupied territory of the Kharkiv region, where the mayor agreed to cooperate with the invaders.
The shelling of the civilian population by Russia is an attempt by the invaders to accuse the Armed Forces of Ukraine of attacking civilians, this is another cynical lie of Russian propaganda and a military provocation", the head of the Kharkiv region summed up.
