Valerii Riabykh, director of the Defense Express information and consulting company, said this on Espreso TV.
“What we observe in the information field are preparatory steps. This is how the countries that have Leopard tanks in service are encouraged to make the appropriate decision on the transfer to Ukraine. It seems to me that there is a very high probability that some formula will be agreed at the Ramstein summit,” he said.
According to Riabykh, this tank is a very common machine in NATO countries.
“There are more than 2,000 of these tanks. They can make a certain decision and select similar tanks based on their modernization characteristics. 10% of this number is two tank regiments. 200 Leopard can radically change the situation on the battlefield in favor of Ukraine. This is the offensive fist that could allow us to quickly and confidently liberate Ukrainian lands from the Russians,” the expert concluded.
