“Putin uses various methods of warfare, including spies and paid politicians, to conduct hybrid warfare. He is willing to do anything that can cause harm. Putin's goal is to create a situation where Ukraine loses support from Western countries. This is just one of the actions he is trying to take,” he explained.
Glen Grant believes that Putin is still determined to control Ukraine.
- On July 22, Russian President Vladimir Putin claimed that Poland and Lithuania are planning to take over Ukraine. He even referred to the western territories of Poland as a gift from Joseph Stalin.
- On July 23, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba responded to Putin's provocative statements and dismissed the Kremlin's attempts to create conflict between Ukraine and Poland as pointless.
