Putin to visit China in October for talks with Xi Jinping

It is noted that Russia is counting on "thorough" talks between Putin and Xi Jinping in Beijing.
"In October, we are looking forward to in-depth bilateral talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing as part of the Russian president's participation in the Belt, and Road international forum," Patrushev said.

The day before, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, and pledged to strengthen Beijing's "strategic coordination" with Moscow as the two countries lay the groundwork for a meeting of their leaders in China next month.
