Washington-based political scientist Andrey Piontkovsky said this on Espreso TV.
According to him, the goal of Prigozhin, Gerasimov, Shoigu, and Mishustin is an honorable surrender, the opposite of Putin's draw.
"Putin also realizes that the war is lost. But with the help of all his global agents, all these peacekeepers he sends to Kyiv, he is achieving an honorable draw. That is, the military operations are stopped, part of the Ukrainian territories remain in the hands of the enemy, and Putin sells this as his honorable draw," noted Andrey Piontkovsky.
On June 15, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that if Russia fails to withstand the counteroffensive of the Defense Forces, it will finally lose the war.
