Putin meets with Chinese Defense Minister in Moscow
Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu arrived in Moscow, where he held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin
This is reported by the Russian propaganda media, referring to the comment of Putin's press secretary Dmitry Peskov.
"Putin held a working meeting with a member of the State Council of China, Minister of Defense of the PRC Li Shangfu," the message reads.
During the meeting, Putin stated that relations between the Russian Federation and China are developing well in all areas, including military.
He also said that the countries regularly exchange military information and conduct joint exercises. In turn, the Minister of Defense of the People's Republic of China said that "the relations between the two countries surpass the military and political alliances of the Cold War."

Earlier it became known that Chinese Defense Minister Li Shangfu, who recently took office, will visit Russia on April 16-19 at the invitation of Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu.
