This was reported by the Associated Press with reference to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
"Putin obviously hopes that everything will fall into place as soon as he takes over enough land and the international community will return to normal. This is an illusion," Scholz said.
Olaf Scholz said that at the next summit the G7 will make it clear that Ukraine can count on the support it needs, "as long as necessary." The leaders will discuss the long-term prospects of our country.
"We will continue to support Ukraine for as long as necessary. We want to make sure that the calculations of the Russian president will not work," the chancellor added.
