Putin asks Lukashenko to help him with special forces – oppositionist Tsepkalo
Vladimir Putin asks Alexander Lukashenko to send him fighters from the Belarusian special operations forces
This was reported by Belarusian opposition leader Valery Tsepkalo on his Telegram channel.
"Putin called Lukashenko with a request to send fighters to suppress the uprising, who have already shown the effectiveness of fighting Wagner's men in 2020. If Lukashenko is involved, it will be "hot" in our country. The karma for 2020 may come from places where it was not expected," Tsepkalo said.
At the same time, one of the leading opposition Telegram channels, Belarus of the Brain, claims that such an agreement has already been reached and Lukashenko is ready to help Putin with his special forces.
Who else has Putin contacted among the foreign leaders?
According to the Kremlin's press service, on Saturday, 24 June 2023, Vladimir Putin spoke by phone with the presidents of Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan.
Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, in turn, called the events in Russia its "internal affair". In return, Recep Tayyip Erdogan promised Putin to help resolve the situation.
