Pseudo-police officer injured in explosion in Russian-occupied Melitopol - mayor

On the morning of March 23, an explosion occurred in the temporarily Russian-occupied city of Melitopol, Zaporizhzhia region. It is known about the injured 'policeman' Serhiy Skovyrko

At 06:46, the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, reported a loud explosion in the city.

“After the morning explosion in occupied Melitopol, invading Russian forces began to panic in earnest,” Fedorov wrote.

The incident occurred near the fire station on Ivana Aleksieieva Street.

An improvised explosive device was reportedly found there. After the explosion, Russian troops dispersed fake police and rescuers.

The occupying forces claimed that a 'policeman' was injured.

“Probably, in the 'best' Russian traditions, they will block the street and look for 'saboteurs'” the mayor added.

Fedorov writes that collaborator Serhiy Skovyrko was injured.

“By the way, friends, have you noticed that traitors are often admitted to the hospital - maybe it's time to give them a separate ward? Because separate cells have already been prepared for them,” the mayor added.

Earlier, mayor Ivan Fedorov told Espreso TV that in temporarily occupied Melitopol, Russians are intensifying terror against local residents - they are frightened by de-occupation and the arrival of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
