This decision allegedly resulted from an "audio recording," in which Ukrainian soldiers purportedly decided to "shoot" a captured Wagner fighter. Prigozhin made this statement on Telegram on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
Prigozhin stated that his fighters would "never violate the international laws of humanism" but would rather "simply destroy everyone on the battlefield."
The head of PMC Wagner formulated a new law for his soldiers: "We will kill everyone on the battlefield. No more prisoners will be taken!"
