Prigozhin admits that "hundreds of thousands" of Russian soldiers dying in Ukraine
During a dispute with the governor of Sverdlovsk region Yevgeny Kuyvashev, the founder of Wagner PMC Yevgeny Prigozhin said that "hundreds of thousands” of Russian soldiers are dying in Ukraine
The statement was made public by Prigozhin's press service.
"Hundreds of thousands of soldiers dying at the front were locksmiths, cooks, teachers, and merchants until February 24, 2022," wrote the head of Wagner PMC, responding to accusations that he was just a businessman and Putin's "chef" and should not get involved in public administration.
These words were immediately picked up by Russian propagandists and appealed to Prigozhin for additional comment.
"Hundreds of thousands are fighting, and some of them are dying – that's what is meant," Prigozhin replied later.

A few days ago, Prigozhin accused Defense Minister Shoigu and the head of the Russian General Staff Gerasimov of treason for not providing ammunition to Wagner Group’s mercenaries.
