Polish Defense Ministry on war in Ukraine: we witness end of Putin's era

The war must end on Ukraine's terms. However, it is already clear that the world is witnessing the end of the era of Russian President Vladimir Putin

Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak said this

“Russian aggression, unfortunately, has confirmed the old truth - the Kremlin cannot be trusted under any circumstances. Imperialist tendencies are still relevant and in full force there,” he said, noting that the war in Ukraine has united Polish society.

“The biggest and very positive surprise was the huge mobilization and solidarity of our society - the way we all joined in helping the victims of the war is very uplifting,” Błaszczak said, adding that Poland is also helping Ukraine with equipment, training and diplomacy.

“We have been and are the voice of Ukraine at many of the most important international forums,” the minister emphasized.

When asked when the war might end, Błaszczak said that Ukraine's victory should be based on Ukraine's rights and conditions.

“This will be decided by the sovereign authorities of Ukraine. And we will support them in this,” he said.

According to him, “we are witnessing at least the end of the Putin era.”
