Poland's next aid package to Ukraine set for February delivery amid Trump's accusations

According to the diplomat, amid recent statements by U.S. President Donald Trump, Ukraine sees signs of solidarity from Poland and the EU.

“In fact, what we see today are signs of solidarity and all the statements coming from the political leadership of Poland and the European Union states show that no one supports the absurd accusations that Trump has made against Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” Bodnar said.

According to him, “everyone understands perfectly well what the reality is, and where the threat of Russian aggression is, and how to support Ukraine.”

"And we hope that not only words but also actions will be reflected in concrete assistance to Ukraine. First of all, we are counting on regular supplies of military equipment and weapons. Poland, as you know, is preparing the 46th package of military aid, and in the near future, I mean, in February, it should still reach Ukraine," Bodnar said.

Also, according to the ambassador, Ukraine expects assistance from other countries. In particular, work is underway to complete the implementation of the Czech initiative on shells. “There are a lot of other initiatives that may not replace American assistance, and we have to understand that this is the biggest assistance that has ever been provided by partner countries, allied countries, but it will definitely help us survive at least these first initial weeks and months of turbulence,” Vasyl Bodnar added.
