Poland will receive €30 million in aid from EU amid Ukrainian grain crisis – Polish Radio

The European Commission announced its intention to increase support for farmers in 5 countries, including Poland, after the crisis with the influx of Ukrainian agricultural products

Polish Radio writes about it.

The second support package of the European Commission for farmers from five countries, including Poland, will be increased from 75 million euros to 100 million euros.

The final decision on financial support will be made in the coming days. This decision must be approved by the representatives of the member states later. For Poland, the amount of aid will reach about 30 million euros.

It is noted that the European Commission will propose steps to ensure that grain from Ukraine reaches its destination – Africa, and does not remain in neighboring countries, as this has caused destabilization of internal agricultural markets in the EU.
