Poland wants to place Patriot air defense systems offered by Germany near the border with Ukraine. Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak wrote it on Twitter.
He welcomed Germany's proposal to strengthen Poland's air defenses with Patriot systems.
"Today, in a telephone conversation with German side, I will propose that system be placed near the border with Ukraine," Błaszczak wrote.
