Russia transports its agricultural goods through Belarus to Poland — UP
Russia continues to export its own products to European countries. Thus, thousands of Polish trucks with Russian agricultural products travel through Belarus to Poland
This is stated in an investigation by Ukrainska Pravda (UP).
The investigation began when, in response to a request from a UP crew, a man who introduced himself as the manager of a Belarusian company called a Polish company and openly offered to buy Russian rapeseed meal under Belarusian documents.
"For your information, in the three months since the ban on Ukrainian products, Poland has bought US$8 million worth of rapeseed meal through Belarus," the statement said.
It is noted that near the Kukuryki checkpoint there are hundreds of trucks that have entered Poland from Belarus without any obstacles.
"Judging by our conversations with representatives of agricultural firms, Russian agricultural products first go to Belarus, where they are loaded onto Polish-registered lorries at special centres. The lorries then head for large companies in Poland," the journalists believe.
Instead, one of these centers is located in Belarus - the Koliadychi terminal of BTLC State Enterprise in Minsk. At the same time, there are at least three companies in Poland that are the largest buyers of agricultural products from Russia: Bromex, Diaspolis, and Kampol Krzysztof Łużniak.
- Polish journalist Marek Sierant said that Russian agricultural products and grain enter the European market through ports in Greece, Belarus, and Latvia.
- Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk's meeting with farmers in Warsaw ended with one of the proposals being an embargo on agricultural products from Russia and Belarus.
