"Photo of the Ukrainian Army at the entrance to Kupyansk is fake" and "only 3% of Ukrainian grain is sent to poor countries": NSDC reviews Russia's fakes from Sept. 9
On September 9, Russia lied that it did not plan to "create difficulties for ordinary Ukrainians" and said the photo of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the entrance to Kupyansk is a fake.
The Center for Combating Misinformation reports in a social network system Telegram.
Speaking about Russia's possible introduction of visas for citizens of Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said: "We do not plan to create additional difficulties for ordinary Ukrainians, in particular refugees, who seek protection in Russia from the persecution of Ukrainian nationalists. Let’s not forget also about the family ties that unite the peoples of the two countries." The Center for Combating Misinformation called this statement manipulative.
Russian propagandists also lied that "the photo of the Ukrainian military on the background of the stele at the entrance to Kupyansk is an information and psychological operation. Since the Russian Armed Forces do not control the R-07 road, a mobile group of the Ukrainian Armed Forces can safely come, take a picture and leave."
