Russian invaders fired on people trying to leave the city on foot near Chernihiv.
This was reported by Public Media in Ukraine.
The shelling was confirmed by the governor of Chernihiv Vyacheslav Chaus.
It is noted that civilians were walking from the city and came under fire from the Russian invaders. There are dead and wounded. The injured were taken to Kulykiv Hospital.
All the details about the circumstances of the incident, the number of dead and injured will be announced on the morning of March 10.
On March 7, Russia said it was ready to open "humanitarian corridors" to evacuate the inhabitants of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Sumy, and Chernihiv.
