"The previous truce lasted for 7 years: from February 2015, after the events in Debaltseve, and until February 2022. So we have to get used to the reality: either we defeat them or they defeat us", he told Espreso.TV.
Taran also noted about Russian war crimes, which will be considered by the Hague court: “Bad news for the Russians: the European court is like a millstone - they grind slowly, but very finely, so it’s impossible to escape from it. If someone from Putin’s entourage thinks that he can hide ("I was just on the air, I just carried papers around the Kremlin, and I thought...") - no, it doesn't work like that: all of Putin's inner circle and beyond will fall under sanctions.
