The defenses of the Russian-built Crimean Bridge in the form of barges were severely damaged as a result of a powerful storm that raged on the peninsula on Sunday, November 26.
According to the user, three barges near the bridge were flooded as a result of the bad weather: 1 - partially, 2 - the barges were completely washed away.
The expert mentioned that another barge is still afloat, but it is not secured or tethered to anything.
- In the temporarily occupied by Russia Crimea, several houses were flooded as a result of a powerful storm on the Black Sea. Due to strong winds, almost half a million residents were left without power supply. A 50-year-old man died in the sea near Sudak.
- Rescuers said they had evacuated 311 people, including 43 children, from the flooded areas.
- A hall in the Sevastopol Marine Aquarium was flooded, killing over 500 marine animals.
- Russian estimated the damage to the infrastructure of the temporarily occupied Crimea from the strongest storm in the history of meteorological observations at RUB 39.7 billion (USD 442.5 million).
