Ukrainian paratroopers rescue comrade from captivity using drone
Ukrainian paratroopers of the 95th Brigade noticed a bound Ukrainian serviceman from another brigade in a trench: they rescued their comrade-in-arms with the help of a drone
This was reported by Army TV.
"The adversary attacked our neighbors, the neighboring units, and entered the trench. In general, it was a very dangerous area for us, because that trench provided access to our positions, and we decided to launch three crews of drones to help our neighbors repel Russia's attack. When our drones were already above the positions, we saw that there was a prisoner - a fighter from a neighboring brigade," said a soldier of the 95th Separate Polesian Air Assault Brigade.
After successfully destroying the Russian forces, the drone operator with the call sign Kevin attracted the attention of the prisoner. The soldier began to follow the drone to reach Ukrainian positions. When another Russian soldier appeared on the way, he was wounded by a grenade dropped from the drone, and the soldier was successfully led to a dugout.
- A soldier of the 79th separate air assault brigade shot down five Russian drones with a Kalashnikov rifle. He lured the hostile UAVs toward him.
