Overnight explosions in Mykolaiv, Russian enemy shelling of region and an injured child: Kim on situation in Mykolaiv region

Invading Russian forces keep the pressure on Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv region: a 7-year-old child is the latest person to be injured.

The Head of Mykolayiv Regional military administration Vitaly Kim shared the news.

After the russian shelling of Mykolaiv in the evening of July 24, fire started in one of the districts of the city on open territory. No one was hurt. However, a few hours later, on the night of July 25, at approximately 02:40 a.m., there was a series of explosions in Mykolaiv. Currently, it is known that the explosions were in fields outside the city, on the territory of nearby villages. Detailed information is being clarified.

The head of Mykolaiv Regional military administration Vitaly Kim emphasized that the Mykolaiv district suffered enemy attacks last night. In particular, on the evening of July 24, at 8:35 p.m., the enemy shelled the village of Zasilya of the Pervomayska hromada. The fire was mainly in open areas, there were no casualties. And around three in the morning on July 25, the shelling of the Mishkovo-Pogorilov village of the Mishkovo-Pogorilov community began. According to preliminary information, a 7-year-old child was injured. Objects of critical infrastructure, electricity and gas supply were also damaged. Residential buildings, vehicles were partially destroyed and a two-story residential building was caught on fire.

Bashstansky district was also targeted. In particular, shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Shirokiv community continues. During the day of July 24, grain fields were caught on fire due to shelling. Also, the russian army continues to shell the territory and nearby settlements of the Berezneguvat community. Villages located on the demarcation line remain under constant fire. There is still no information about the victims. Information on the destruction of residential buildings is being clarified.

Instead, the day and night were relatively calm  in the Voznesensky and Pervomaysky districts.
