Russian troops attack in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Marinka and Shakhtarsk directions. Over 80 combat engagements took place in the above-mentioned areas over the last day, with the hottest fighting taking place for Bakhmut, Marinka and near Avdiivka, Stepove and Novomykhailivka.
Ukrainian defense forces strike 20 Russian manpower concentrations
Over the past day, the aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces launched 13 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel and military equipment, as well as 8 strikes on anti-aircraft missile systems.
Also, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 3 Kalibr cruise missiles, 18 Iranian Shahed strike UAVs, 4 Lancet barrage munitions and 10 reconnaissance drones of various types.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 1 control center, 7 concentrations of weapons and military equipment, 2 artillery units at firing positions, 6 electronic warfare stations, an ammunition depot, and a S-300 radar station.
Russia launched 6 missile and 62 air strikes against Ukraine over the last day
Over the past day, Russia launched 6 missile and 62 air strikes, as well as 65 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. Civilian infrastructure was damaged. In particular, the shelling of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region, and Beryslav and Zelenivka in the Kherson region resulted in civilians being killed and wounded, a child being killed, and the destruction of private homes, medical facilities, and other civilian infrastructure.
The threat of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high, as Russia continues to use terror tactics.
Russia continues forcing Ukrainians to get Russian passports in Kakhovka
Occupying Russian ‘authorities’ continue to force the population in Kakhovka, a temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region, to get Russian passports. To speed up this process, they are conducting demonstrative raids aimed at intimidating the local population with possible mobilization and alienation of property. In particular, they make door-to-door and house-to-house visits. They are conducting a census and exerting psychological pressure, forcing people to get passports. Russia is also threatening Ukrainian citizens who refuse to obtain a Russian passport with forced eviction from their homes and power cuts.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops are on the offensive. Heavy fighting for the city of Bakhmut continues. During the day, they launched unsuccessful attacks in the direction of the settlements of Ivanivske and Bila Hora.
They also launched air strikes near 7 settlements and shelled 12 more in the Donetsk region.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian forces attacked in the direction of Avdiivka and 3 other settlements, but were unsuccessful. During the day, they launched an air strike near Avdiivka, as well as artillery attacks near 7 other settlements in the Donetsk region.
In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian defense forces repelled more than 20 attacks near the town of Marinka. Five settlements in the Donetsk region came under Russian fire.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched more than 10 unsuccessful assaults near Novomykhailivka over the past day. They also launched air strikes near 3 more settlements and shelled 6 others.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops did not launch any attacks over the past day. However, they launched air strikes near 2 settlements in the Luhansk region, shelled 6 settlements in Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk regions.
On the northeastern border with Russia, its troops maintain military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine.
Over the past day, they launched air strikes near 3 settlements in the Kharkiv region, as well as mortar and artillery attacks on 20 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops launched unsuccessful attacks near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. They also launched air strikes near 3 more settlements in the Kharkiv region, as well as artillery and mortar shelling of 11 settlements in the Kharkiv region and 1 in the Luhansk region.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops are on the defensive. They launched an air strike on the village of Kizomys and shelled 12 settlements near the front line.
On the northern border with Belarus, the operational situation remained unchanged, with no signs of offensive enemy groups forming.
