Over 30 combat clashes take place in one day, Ukrainian Armed Forces launch 7 strikes on Russian military positions – General Staff

This was stated in the morning report of the General Staff.

During the previous day, the Russian occupiers launched another missile and air strike on Ukrainian territory. They utilized anti-aircraft guided missiles from the S-300 air defense system and Iranian UAVs of the Shahed type.

In response, the Air Force of the Defense Forces conducted 7 strikes targeting areas where enemy personnel were concentrated. Additionally, Ukrainian military forces destroyed 10 operational-tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

Furthermore, units of the missile forces and artillery successfully targeted 11 artillery pieces in firing positions, 1 ammunition depot, 3 anti-aircraft defense equipment, and 2 radio-electronic warfare stations of the enemy over the past 24 hours.

Russia launched 52 airstrikes and 60 MLRS attacks against Ukraine 

Throughout the day, the enemy carried out 52 airstrikes and approximately 60 MLRS attacks, killing 8 civilians and injuring 13 others in Lyman.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entirety of Ukraine remains high.

Situation in different regions of Ukraine 

On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.

On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched air strikes on 3 settlements in the Sumy and Kharkiv regions. They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of over 30 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops shelled 5 settlements across the Kharkiv region. Two areas suffered from air strikes, and three – from Russian offensive attempts. 

In the Lyman direction, Russian troops shelled over 15 settlements across the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. More than 5 areas were subjected to air strikes. 

In the Bakhmut direction, Russians shelled over 15 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery and launched air strikes on 4 settlements. 

In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled over 15 settlements with artillery. 

In the Marinka direction, Russian troops shelled 8 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery and launched air strikes in 2 areas. 

In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops shelled over 15 settlements and launched air strikes near 2 settlements.  

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian troops launched air strikes near 2 settlements and shelled over 20 settlements across Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
